Litomerice - Ústí nad Elbem

This 25 km long route leads almost exclusively on cycle paths through the unique Porta Bohemica valley and offers a visit to the Žernosky wine-growing region or Střekov Castle. Directly in Litoměřice you will find the Kalich lookout, St. Stephen's Cathedral or the castle's exhibition on winemaking.
The route of the Elbe Cycle Route between the royal town of Litoměřice and the regional town of Ústí nad Elbem is almost the entire length of the trail. During the trip, which is about 25 km long, you can visit the wine-growing village of Velké Žernoseky, the Three Crosses lookout on the hill of Kalvárie or Střekov Castle in Ústí nad Elbem. Right in Litoměřice it is worth visiting the Kalich viewpoint, the Dome hill with the St. Stephen's Cathedral or the castle with an exposition about winemaking. During the journey along this section you will pass through a unique valley called Porta Bohemica.

Hněvice - Litomerice

On the 30 km long route between Štětí and Litoměřice, cyclists can choose between sections on trails and roads with the option of both banks of the Elbe in the vicinity of Roudnice. The route is lined with historical gems such as Roudnice Castle, the fortress Terezín or the nearby Říp Mountain with the St. George Rotunda.

Ústí nad Elbem - Decin

Between Ústí nad Elbem and Děčín, you will ride 25 km along the cycle path past the Velké Březno Castle, the Zubrnice open-air museum and the Vrabinec Castle. The road in Ústí is lined with the Větruše Castle and the local zoo.

Decin - Dolní Žleb

The last 15km section of the Elbe Cycle Route leads from Děčín through the breathtaking Elbe Canyon, where you can visit the castle, via ferrata or the zoo on the Shepherd's Wall. The trail continues to Dolní Žleb, from where you can easily reach the heart of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park by ferry via Hřensko.
