Větruše is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city of Ústí nad Elbem, built by Knight Labohoř in 826 to protect against enemies on the edge of the Elbe Valley below Soudný Hill. Today, Větruše is a popular tourist destination. The main building includes a restaurant with a viewing terrace, a hotel, and a viewing tower. The tower offers a beautiful view of the Elbe Valley and the city of Ústí nad Elbem. Other attractions in the area include a mirror and natural maze, a playground, and sports facilities. In the vicinity of Větruše, there is a medieval execution site, from which an educational trail leads to the Ústí underground. The Větruše – Vrkoč educational trail with nine information boards also begins at Větruše.
