Cycle along the Elbe River to see the monuments of the Lobkowicz family. Our series of tips will take you to several interesting places that are closely linked to this family and which can be visited as part of a bike tour.
The first tip takes you to Střekov Castle, which is one of the most visited cultural monuments in North Bohemia. The construction was started in 1316 and has been in the possession of the Lobkowicz family of Roudnice since 1615.
Visit the romantic ruins of the castle and be enchanted by the view that Johann Wolfgang Goethe described as "one of the most beautiful in Central Europe".
For cyclists, there are locking bike boxes right at the castle. You can refresh yourself in the Restaurant Wágnerka directly at Střekov Castle.
