The bike tour along the two rivers runs first along the Ploučnice and then along the Labe. The trip is approximately 80 km long and is planned as a all-day trip. It is more suitable for more experienced cyclists and ideally during the period when the cycle bus is running.

Use the cyclobus of the Ústí nad Labem Region, specifically the 623 line:

Bohušovice nad Ohří - Litoměřice - Třebušín - Lovečkovice - Verneřice
Operation: weekends and public holidays
Bike transport: capacity 20 bikes

Get on the cycle bus in Litoměřice and get off in Mukařov (altitude almost 600 m). From there, you will travel about 11 km along newly marked cycle paths. First, follow cycle route No. 3124 to Verneřice, then continue along cycle route No. 3125.

The route will take you for example to Merboltice, which is a village conservation area with beautiful timbered cottages and a medieval bell tower. Most of this section is downhill, so you will enjoy a pleasant descent.

At Staré Šachov cross the bridge and join cycle route No. 15 - Ploučnice cycle path. It will lead you through Františkov to Benešov nad Ploučnicí, where you can visit the state castle Benesov nad Ploučnicí, known as the pearl of the Saxon Renaissance.

From Benešov, continue along the river to Děčín. From there, follow the signs for the Labská cesta and return to Litomerice via Velké Březno, Ústí nad Labem and Velké Žernoseky.

If you are riding an electric bike, you can use several chargers from the Charging Electric Bikes project along the route.
