We recommend setting out from Ústí nad Labem in the morning or early morning. You’ll cover about 25 km along the Elbe Cycle Route. You’ll ride past Střekov Castle, through the beautiful Porta Bohemica Valley, and past the vineyards of Žernosek. It takes about an hour and a half to reach Litoměřice, and the trip is suitable for families with children. Just watch out for the bumpy terrain in Sebuzín and near Žalhostice. In Litoměřice, you can park your bikes at the bike tower and set out to explore the historic town. Visit the Kalich lookout point, Cathedral Square with St. Stephen’s Cathedral, or buy some excellent local wine at the wine tavern on the square. You can have lunch at the Bishop’s Brewery U sv. Štěpána or at the Town Hall Wine Cellar. And then hurry to the pier. Boat Line 91 departs from the pier at Lodní Square (check the schedule in the attachment below—times vary by month and day of the week). This pleasant cruise, featuring beautiful views and refreshments on board, lasts just over two hours.
