Set out from Ústí nad Labem to discover the beautiful views of Porta Bohemica, also known as the Gateway to Bohemia. First, head to Větruše from Ústí nad Labem, then continue along bike trail No. 3090, followed by No. 3092 and No. 3091. Along the way, stop at some of the beautiful lookout points, such as Skály, Skalky, or the Radejčín observation tower. Continue on, leaving the marked bike trails behind, to the village of Kletečná and then on to Chotiměř. From there, it’s just a short distance to the picturesque Oparenské Valley. Stop here for lunch or a snack at the Černodolský mlýn restaurant, then continue along bike route No. 25 to the Elbe River. Along the way, you can also stop at the St. Thomas Winery in Malé Žernoseky. From Malé Žernoseky, take the ferry to the Elbe Cycle Route near the village of Velké Žernoseky. Then it’s a comfortable, flat ride through Porta Bohemica back to Ústí nad Labem. There, you can wrap up your trip at the Na Rychtě Brewery, where you’re sure to enjoy their Mazel beer—a certified product of the České středohoří regional brand. The Na Rychtě Brewery also has a hotel, so you can extend your stay overnight.
